This movie is an unusual revenge tale where a young man (Varun Dhawan) avenging the death of his wife and child who lost their lives to petty robbers (Nawazuddin Siddiqui and) 15 years later. Why 15? That's why you have to watch the movie. No spoilers! That's the whole point. The film is brilliant with powerful performances by the cast. Varun Dhawan shines in the lead role. The narrative of the film is in his point of view. You can feel his agony, his hatred towards Layak and his partner. He's crazy scary sometimes. That WORKS! It's a thriller after all. He fits the role perfectly as like he's born to play the dreaded widower. And Nawazuddin Siddiqui is stellar, funny at times but yet menacing at times when he needs to be. It's all in his eyes. The supporting casts including Divya Dutta, Manoj and were great as usual, no doubt there. The music is great and background score is top notch. The making of the film is nice, the storytelling direction, tone, screenplay, dialogues and other technical things are splendid. This is a movie you must watch because a finely made Bollywood movie is rare. And this one here is a rare gem. It's a solid five on five.
